"What an incredible family orientated and informative festival to celebrate our heritage and the journey our ancestors made to help the UK in it's time of need post-war. Can not fault the dedication of the team who puts this event together they all do an amazing job, so much work behind the scenes, long hours, months of searching for entertainment, accessible to all location, equipment and vendors. Windrush is a jammed packed event of the regions musical talent from different genres with Carribean influences, amazing array of educational and catering vendors, plenty of free space for children to safely play, dog friendly and great disabled access. All in all a very inclusive well planned event. If you missed the last two years events you must make the effort to attend Windrush 75 . On a final note a massive thank you to all who dedicated their time to organising, performing, and to all the vendors for sharing their traditional culinary skills for us to enjoy."
